An Incredible Prize
Her prize stood before atop a lone white pedestal, a head-sized jewel worth potentially millions, the solution to all her problems, all she had to do was reach out and take it. She had come prepared for the job, black gloves to prevent fingerprints, black trousers, and black tank-top to help her blend into the shadows, soft shoes to keep her footsteps quiet, she knew what she was doing. All the security cameras and alarms had been disabled prior, the security patrols pacified, and her car waited parked outside for a quick getaway. Bonnie Doyle, world-class thief, who would have thought. The pedestal that held the gem was at the end of a long, empty hallway, with plain white walls and a single entrance at one end. No obstacles that she could detect, there were none in the building schematics she viewed before the job, it was just an isolated, plain room. It felt off though like it was too easy, no guards, no cameras, no laser-traps that you see in all those heist movies, just a room
